The RHIZOMA project (Réseau d’études des HIppocampes et des Zostères par des Observateurs sous-marins en Manche et Atlantique) is a first step towards a network of underwater observers along the French coasts. For 2011, the project will mainly deal with seahorses and pipefishes, and Zostera seagrass beds.
